Product Conformity

The Declaration of Conformity is a legal document which needs to be completed for all CE marked products sold in the European Union. Products are required by law to meet certain technical regulatory requirements. gbics technical regulations team manages this and publishes the corresponding EU documents here.

The majority of new products must be supplied to end users with a certificate called a Declaration of Conformity, which must relate to the particular product placed on the market. gbics offer vendor compatible transceivers at a fraction of the official recommended retail price, whilst ensuring they are certified to the same International Compliance Regulations and Health and Safety Legislation. All of our components are tested and certified in the UK by UKAS accredited laboratories.
