All transceivers are manufactured to MSA standards and are compatible with over 100 network hardware vendors including Arista, Ciena, Cisco, Extreme, HPE, Juniper and Palo Alto.

gbics.com was formed in 2013 to provide high quality compatible optical transceivers direct to the end user. Originally setup as an e-commerce business from a network distribution background, the company now manages 90% of its client base through a team of experienced Account Managers and Account Directors specialising in various technologies and vertical markets.

Does using gbics transceivers in my network effect warranties and support contracts?
No. Transceivers are a 3rd party product in the same way cables and memory are and therefore do not affect any warranties or contracts you have on your network equipment. Vendors such as Cisco and HPE have 3rd party warranty statements available on their websites.

Our products carry an Advanced Replacement Lifetime Warranty in the event of failure which means the replacement part can be on site the same or next day.
